RESOLUTION NO. 02-334
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING GAY MILLIGIN
FOR DISTINGUISHED
COMMUNITY SERVICE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District, Santa Barbara County, California, that:
WHEREAS, Ms. Milligin has consistently served the Community of Rancho Embarcadero and the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District for over twenty years.
WHEREAS, Ms. Milligin was elected to serve as Director of the Board of the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District in November, 1989 and served in that capacity until January of 1994. Director Milligin diligently devoted herself to the public interest, performing the duties of her office while recognizing the rights of both present owners and the future owners of both the lands and homes within the District through the giving of substantial time, talent, and energies to the many obligations of her position; and
WHEREAS, the scope of Ms. Milligin's efforts extends beyond the service as Director of the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District. While a resident of Rancho Embarcadero, Ms. Milligin was an active member and supporter of the Community, giving of her time, talent, as well as professional expertise and donations. Although she no longer resides within the District, Ms. Milligin continues supporting the community with substantial donations. Her sense of community is respected in the professional arena, in her friendships, and by the residents of the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District.

NOW, THEREFORE, this Board of Directors does hereby resolve and order, as follows:

1. That the Board of Directors on its own behalf and on the behalf of the homeowners, residents and property owners of this District does hereby express its highest commendation and thanks to Gay Milligin for her exceptional and selfless service to the Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District.

2. That the Secretary shall duly cause a copy of this Resolution suitably embossed to be transmitted to Gay Milligin.
